Fallbarrow Holiday Park

Bowness on the doorstep

Bowness Lodge Rentals is our new holiday caravan on Fallbarrow Holiday Park, on the edge of Bowness-on-Windermere. Three bedrooms, a deck to sit out on and free parking.

Most guests leave the car where it is and walk: The World of Beatrix Potter is about four minutes from the park gate, the boats at Bowness Pier about seven or eight.

The caravan

Room to spread out for a few quiet days.

Three bedrooms to come back to after a night out.

An extra-large double, two twin rooms and a sofa bed. A shower room, plus a second toilet and basin next to the main bedroom. Open-plan living with a stove-style electric fire, a proper kitchen with a dishwasher, and Netflix and a Bluetooth speaker for the evenings in.

Bowness on a weekday is laid-back. Take the boat to Ambleside, walk up Brant Fell, or put a paddleboard in from the park.

Bowness has an incredible vibe on a Friday or Saturday night. Bars and restaurants in town are a few minutes’ walk from the park gate, and nobody has to drive home.
